Return and Exchange Policy of the Aiyman.uz Marketplace

This Policy defines the procedure and conditions for the return, exchange, and refusal of goods purchased on the Aiyman.uz website. The marketplace specializes in the sale of health-related products, medical equipment, and dietary supplements (biologically active additives), the circulation of which is strictly regulated by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Section I. Legal Basis (Legal Reference)

The Aiyman.uz return policy has been developed in strict compliance with the following regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

  • The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Protection of Consumer Rights” dated April 26, 1996, No. 221-I.
  • The “Rules of Retail Trade in the Republic of Uzbekistan,” approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 13, 2003, No. 75.

1. Status and Return of Dietary Supplements (Biologically Active Additives)

According to the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dietary supplements are not medicinal products; however, they belong to the category of food products with specialized properties (food additives).

  • Article 18 of the Law “On Protection of Consumer Rights” grants the right to return or exchange goods of proper quality within 10 days only in relation to non-food products.
  • Consequently, dietary supplements, diet and sports nutrition products, herbal mixtures, and vitamin complexes of proper quality are not subject to return or exchange after their acceptance by the buyer, even if the packaging has not been opened.

2. Status and Return of Medical Equipment

Medical equipment belongs to non-food products; however, it is subject to strict restrictions due to sanitary considerations.

  • Annex No. 1 to the Rules of Retail Trade (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 75) establishes an exhaustive “List of non-food products of proper quality that are not subject to return or exchange for a similar product.”
  • Clause 1 of this List states: The following are not subject to return: “Goods for the prevention and treatment of diseases at home (sanitary and hygiene items made of metal, rubber, textile and other materials, instruments, devices and medical equipment, oral hygiene products, spectacle lenses, childcare items, medicinal products).”
  • Consequently, tonometers, inhalers, thermometers, massagers, orthopedic products, and other equipment of proper quality are not subject to return or exchange (for example, for reasons such as “did not like the color,” “changed my mind,” or “did not understand the instructions”).

Section II. Return Rules for Aiyman.uz Customers

1. Return of goods of PROPER quality (if you simply changed your mind)

For the category “Dietary Supplements and Nutrition”:

  • Return is not possible after you have received the goods from the courier or from the pick-up point.
  • Exception: You have the right to refuse dietary supplements at the moment of receiving the order (in the presence of the courier or the pick-up point administrator) if you changed your mind before the actual transfer of the goods into your hands.

For the category “Medical Equipment and Devices”:

  • Exchange and return of properly functioning medical equipment, sanitary-hygienic products, and orthopedic items are not carried out.
  • Please carefully review the characteristics, contraindications, and sizes of medical products before making a purchase.
  • Exception: Refusal is possible only at the time of delivery, before signing the documents of receipt (or before the issuance of an electronic receipt/barcode).

2. Return of goods of IMPROPER quality (manufacturing defect, damage, expiration)

We guarantee the protection of your rights in accordance with Articles 13–14 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Protection of Consumer Rights” if you have received goods of improper quality.

3. Procedure for Processing Returns Due to Defects

Recording the issue: If you discovered a defect at the time of receipt, draw up a report together with the courier or the pick-up point employee. If the defect is discovered at home (hidden defect), take clear photos/videos of the malfunction, the barcode on the packaging, and the product itself.

Contacting support: Submit a request to the Aiyman.uz support service (Telegram bot: [Your link] or email: [Your email]), indicating the order number and attaching evidence.

Diagnostics: When returning technically complex medical equipment, the product is transferred to the Seller or to an authorized service center for diagnostics (for a period of up to 20 days). This is necessary to confirm that the malfunction is a manufacturing defect and not the result of improper use.

Decision:

  • Replacement with a similar functioning product
  • Free warranty repair
  • Full refund of the amount paid

4. Incorrect Item or Damage During Delivery

  • If you received a product different from the one you ordered or the product was damaged during transportation, claims are accepted within 7 calendar days from the date of receipt.
  • We strongly recommend checking fragile medical equipment and glass packaging at the pick-up point or in the presence of the courier.

5. Refund of Funds

  • Upon confirmation of the right to a refund, the funds are returned using the same method by which the payment was made.
  • For online payments (Uzcard, Humo), funds are returned within 1 to 3 business days depending on the bank.
  • In case of installment purchase, the agreement is canceled and the limit is restored with recalculation.
